My photography career began in San Francisco in the mid 90's shooting editorial travel and portraiture. Since then I have shot a wide array of subject matter and have found people to be the most rewarding to photograph. Having shot in studios, for magazines and all over the globe I can honestly say there is no experience like photographing a wedding.

As with travel work and portraits, weddings present an ever changing and dynamic situation. The opportunity to discover cherished moments is fantastic. When people experience things for the first time, be it a wedding day or a trip to a far away place, their eyes widen to the experience. Their inhibitions and guard let down and the moment becomes real. The expressions this creates are honest and sincere and make for some of the most rewarding subject matter I have ever shot.

As I am experienced in destination photography and have photographed weddings in Napa Valley, Martha's Vineyard, Colorado, Chicago, Baja, Mexico and of course here in Jackson Hole as well, please don't hesitate to inquire about weddings with travel requirements.

David's photographs from our wedding adorn all the 'power spots' in the house; the mantel (in the middle), all over the living room, and the all important 'wife's bedside table!' He captured the things that I never would have thought to photograph without missing any of the important moments. In addition to being a great photographer, David just seemed to fit really well at out wedding. We got the perfect mix of great candid photos (for our walls) and the standard ones (for Mom and Dad's walls)!
